In a recent post, we reported that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) extended the deadline until November 30 for survivors to apply for disaster assistance. However, FEMA just acted once again to slightly extend the previously established deadline.
Because of the long Thanksgiving weekend, the new registration deadline for storm and flooding survivors to register for federal disaster assistance is December 2, 2013. This same date shall serve as the new deadline to complete and return low-interest U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster loan applications.
The extension is for all 11 Colorado counties designated for federal Individual Assistance: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Clear Creek, El Paso, Fremont, Jefferson, Larimer, Logan, Morgan and Weld.
